ABOUT me

Twenty years on the other side of the table.

Born in Africa, made in Portugal, and refined globally.

I spent two decades in executive search and senior talent leadership - including senior roles at GE and EY - figuring out who was ready for senior leadership, who wasn't, and why.

I didn't come to coaching through a book. I came through twenty years of watching this exact moment play out, formal ICF accreditation, and enough supervised coaching hours to know the difference between a pattern and a bad week.

What I learned

The ones who struggled weren't lacking ability. They were missing clarity.

Time and again, I watched talented people stall, not because they weren't capable, but because nobody had helped them see what was actually in their way.

That pattern recognition is what I bring into every coaching conversation now, whether I'm working with a founder building their first leadership team, or an executive stepping into the C-suite, or a newly appointed manager leading their first team.

The Personal BIT

I also know what it's like to lead when things

aren't straightforward.

I've navigated my own share of uncertainty.
The kind that doesn't come with a clear roadmap or a tidy resolution, and it changed how I think about resilience and performing under pressure, and it shapes how I coach: with honesty about what's hard, and no interest in quick fixes that don't hold up under real conditions.

When I'm not doing this, I'm a coffee-fuelled mum, fluent in quite a few too languages for my own admin capacity, and still working out how to say no to things gracefully.

"I worked with Sandra for several years at GE Healthcare, where she supported me and my clients with our recruiting efforts in Europe. She is a consummate professional who brings deep market insights into her searches. She also takes the time to truly understand the needs of the customers, market dynamics and her own experience."

- JJ, Global HR Director, worked with Sandra at GE Healthcare

WHAT Colleagues said at the time
"Sandra worked directly for me at GE. She was the lead for our Executive COE and helped me set up the team. Sandra worked on many senior executive roles and was always very diligent in her research and process. She is comfortable and effective in working remotely and getting her work completed within the deadlines."
